• I have coworkers who spend hundreds in sports (and related) betting.
• The average new car note is $568 when most people can't afford the depreciation hit on a new one.
• Video card prices are ridiculous but still sell out.

$600 paying for a quality provider is worth it to the OP. I don't read reviews about a great time with a young, Instagram-quality model paying $200 at the local AMP.

I don’t mind how much $$$ anyone spends. Just kills the “market”
And most things you mentioned are goods you keep for years - not 60mins
