You're right. I went out around 89th last week. I saw a uniformed cop standing at the stairs at one of the basement spas. There was also a cop car with a cop sitting in it right out front (probably the guys partner), and an unmarked car right behind the them. No girls in sight. What was funny to me was that if you walked to the opposite end of the block by Britton the girls were out over there.

The last time the news anyone was arrested for Soliciting an UC NYPD Vice was on Roosevelt back in August. There's always been police presence there.

You're absolutely right. I was using Carol's agency and independent so I just caught the end of the Chicas era.

I just associate that avenue with heat given all the stuff going on. But do recall the 1990's and chica spots all over the place before they really cracked down on it. I live near it now but avoid it completely.

I know why. The entire block is an open secret Asian ho stroll with never less than 7-10 older Asian women literally just standing around in nice dresses occasionally and quickly taking guys into dark doorways only to be replaced by another older Asian women in a nice dress. Everyone knows what they're doing and now the jig is up. They're availiability is a 10 and their discretion is a zero. I take that back. Hunts Point back in the 90s. THAT was a zero. These ladies subtlety and discretion is like a 2.

SO MANY TIMES I'll walk in and go 'fuck' as someone's flat-assed grandmother grabs me by the shoulder and leads me to a room. At least with their street advertisement, you get to pick your provider with no commitment. Love that but with that comes heat.

This was a long time coming....Those idiot providers sticking out like a sore thumb with Amigos corralling around. LE is a bit behind though it's getting cold out and they are not going to be on the corners like that anymore anyways.

Having said that, what a waste of our tax dollars. Isn't some lady in the same area getting smacked around by her husband they should be looking into that.

The sad aspect was that despite being able to see - Approximately zero of them I would consider....So they were advertising nothing essentially.
