I want to thank y'all for bringing this issue to light. Its difficult as a monger on here to see good experiences from others on here just to try to make an appoinment and be turned away for how I look.

The truth is it is a very rough life for a black monger. Ive had the same experience with being turned away at 80th. I kept it to myself because i didnt know if I could relate that experience to anyone. I don't monger in NY often but if I did id create a Private Access thread on places to stay away from as a darker toned monger.

Hey man, I feel you. I just made a thread on the discussion part of flushing. I’ve gone through it also a few times. Blacks are most common to be turned away but I’ve had white friends who got turned away because they won’t serve any non Asian. I know identity is key here but if you don’t mind it’s helpful to mention what race you are in the review.

This place is not above the sports bar on 82nd. Yes your right it's not because the girls are racist it's the experience they have had with them in the past. I also liked that method of you leaving when the menu isn't good or not satisfied with the woman you want. @hamilton2015 I forgot to write this in your review of mary but I will write it here

I had an experience like that on 80th with the Indian/Bengali. That damn mamasan would always run me out of there. I would call when I'm in front of the place and ask if it's ok to come up and once they said yes I go up and they look at me and say no they are busy. So my dumbass tried again and they kept giving me Ruby and I've known Ruby from Oshis and seen her at another independent spot when Oshis got busted. If anyone knows her she is by far the worse one. She has no skill with her massage, she not attractive, her hands feel like sandpaper. There was a time everyone else refused to see me until I started walking out and then I said I want somebody new. So they gave me a better looking indian woman and more importantly she has currently and in the past gave me the best massage ever, which is what I come for. Extras are just bonus and are never expected from me.

The place on 80th bas denied me even an HJ more than once. I'm White. The only posters who I know get full, and bjs from there are Black guys. So, I dont think its becauae you're Black.

I don't know if race is a factor at 80th but it could be. I saw Mery and she told me about a 6'5 African guy who use to see her but he didn't want to touch her, only look at her legs while she stood in the corner and he jerked himself off. It freaked her out so she told the mamasan to tell him that she didn't there anymore next time.

Next time he comes, they tell him that Mery isn't there. He flips out, yelling and screaming, calling them liars and banging on the wall. They are able to eventually get him to calm down and leave. Obviously he is mentally ill but it does make you wonder how such interactions serve as confirmation bias for racial stereotypes. As a black male it made we wonder how does Mery or the other girls there see me when I have sessions with them.

I respect @Baiter 's opinion on this, but @RickeyRomance get's it.

I'm a realist. As a black guy I am treated pretty poorly in this industry, I have been turned away a ton of times. Sometimes when I go to a place I am literally yelled at by staff for just showing up. It's not fair, it's not right, but it is reality. It sucks but I can't waste a lot of time crying about it, I just have to know the game I'm playing. If I want good service I have to know the process to get it.

Sometimes when I show up at a place (like what happened at Scorpio), there is a moment of shock and I think all the ladies are saying to them selves "oh my god, it's a dangerous black man." Someone (usually the one who is the least popular with clients) is encouraged to do. And as she works she does a half ass job to see how aggressive I am, she won't do any teasing or playfulness, just the bare-bone minimum to get me out if I'm trouble.

But by the end of the massage, any gal who isn't a straight up racist, wants my number or wants to give me theirs, because I'm a perfect client. I don't push boundaries and I don't do a lot of negotiations.

I have been to AMPs/LMPs where I have had to suffer through the poorly skilled rookie to later gain access to the MVP. Is it always worth it? NO! A lot of places just suck. But this place has positive reviews, and I got a hint that now they are okay with me so I might see that positive.

Excellent post and that's been my experience as well. You start off getting the suspicion and the sneers and you turn into a unicorn for them. Someone who can physically please them, pay them well and have one of the best personalities of all their clients. It truly sucks that we have to play that game and jump through that hoop that others don't have to jump through but such has been our experience in America in every other avenue so I guess AMPs are no different. Just keep winning, keep shining and keep being excellent.

Yeah, I had one experience like that in my neck of the woods. I left $10. Went to another Latina spot and got somewhat better treatment , but not much. Went back to the second place again, and fucked their top bitch like there was no tomorrow.

I feel ya, but being in the same boat, when service was none existant, I fuckin complained. In both instances I was refunded the HF. At one of the places that refunded the HF, they waved the HF for the next visit-the next day. I also got a better bitch with all the trimmings AND left a solid tip. No problem since then.
