Title: Review: Sunflower Spa
Date: Nov 6, 2018
Phone: 347-987-6729
City: Brooklyn
State: New York
Address: 339 5th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11251
Activities: Massage HR
Age Estimate: Abt 30
Nationality: Chinese
Physical Description: a pretty woman, black hair, nice body, about 5'6'
Summary: i was intrigued by the reviews that I read recently about this spa. so i paid a visit yesterday to check it out. It was easy to find on 5th Street and 5th Ave and the door had a very welcoming look. Lucky for me the new manager China was there. China happened to be alone and working on improving the look of the place. She showed me around which did not take long since the place is not huge but is cozy with 3 private massage rooms and a bathroom w/shower. All the massage rooms have doors with walls to the ceiling. She showed me to one of the rooms and closed the door. She proceeded to give me an excellent medium massage that I requested. When the massage ended she led me to the bathroom & shower and passed me in a large white towel to dry off with. Nice.

China speaks English very well.
She is smart, good natured and works to please her customers.
All in all I had a very good experience here.
I will definitely return to see China.

$60 for one hour massage/$40 for thirty minutes

Recommendation: Yes

So you gave her $ and got HR? That seems really, really high.
Hi NewtoBK. Let me just say that the medium massage was really, really good. and the HR was prolonged and as good as the massage. I am used to paying 1.4 to 1.8 for this type of attention. And I really liked the provider China's personality and will return to see her. I cannot vouch for the other providers there yet but will try them out if China is not there.

Just because you're used to it doesn't mean it's not way too much. You can get a great massage and long HE for under 100 altogether less than five blocks from there. When you tip that much, eventually everyone needs to tip more.

You do what you want with your money, of course.

I'm sure there are places nearby where you might feel that less than 100 would be appropriate. I usually pay a little less for just HE, depending, but I don't think that 100 is too much if it feels worthwhile, particularly if it is an hour session. But, way too much? How little do you give.

Perhaps NewtoBK could favor us with some suggestions where similar service in that neighborhood would warrant a lesser tip. I'd be interested.

the spa that you are talking about 5 blocks away is that the one on 326 7th street & 5th ave? i know that is only 2 blocks away but i stopped there to check it out and the steps down were very steep. i liked the place and the person who met me at the door. plan to try it out. but if this is not the one that you are talking about then what spa is 5 blocks away? thanks.

(I should add that the amount that i paid is not written in stone. i think you could pay for 30min@.4 and add your tip at say @.4 if it warrants that amount and totals it out at .8).

H & C on 9th at 5th Ave, four blocks away, is 40 more for HE, Eastern Spa at 7th and 5th Ave, two blocks away, is 30 more for HE. Compared to that, 100 for just HE seems like way too much to me. maybe 100 more for FS or even BJ, but not just HE.

Thanks for info on those two spas. I will pay them a visit when I am in Brooklyn next time. Any providers that you recommend at both places?
