Went recently and they said cash only now. Places that do cash only are shady to me I don’t like it

I think that's an untrue statement All of the places that I go to are cash only, and there is nothing shady going on. Most of the places that accept some other payment are totally a "no extras" spa where the soccer moms go too. Notice that I didn't use the word legit because they are all legit if the provide the service that they advertise. Thanks for sharing your reviews.

I didn’t like that swan lake went from cash or card to cash only - call them they changed as of last Sunday I know

Cash only means service isn’t guaranteed and they don’t want anyone messing with threatening refunds. When they have your cash you stuck, if they offer credit they are more about “service”

I used a credit card when I went yesterday, I heard from cassie that they changed the network company before and didn't have a Wi-Fi connection to the credit card machine and everything is back to normal now

Agreed - I never did but I like to know the places have to have that fear if they are trying to rip you off with bad service. Just an extra cushion

For their safety and protection, it’s better they don’t accept credit cards. Too many spouses have seen credit card charges for spas and massages and then called the spa to complain. It creates a very difficult situation for the AMP. a lot of restaurants only accept cash. And these restaurants do a big business with many repeat customers. The organizations that only accept cash that I find dubious are churches. And, you can well imagine what their reasons are.
