or Ava* to pull up all that start Ava* like Available or Avalon.

Is there a guide to the search function? For example is there a way to search phone numbers with spaces or dashes? Something like "347?555?1212" ?

yeah wont search for 3 letter words. so we should make sure that all codewords are at least 3 letters. Use TLM (three letter min) as a prefix TLM_FS; TLM_CBJ; TLM_TS, etc
