Was getting majorly ripped off by CVS, filling my TEVA branded Sildenafil script.

Live in NYC, travel to DC area often. Started filling my script at Wegmans pharmacy in Alexandria. Was getting 50, 50MG pills for $22 dollars. The CVS pricing was Criminal!

Sadly, the Wegmans won’t be able to side purchase that brand for me anymore. Don’t won’t to switch brands as they have been consistently good and I know what to expect side effect wise.

So, anyone using the TEVA branded Sildenafil, where are you sourcing yours/pharmacy? I was not going through insurance to pay, just paid the $22.

Sourcing in NYC would be most helpful. Don’t really want to have to do the whole mail thing. Seems like I might have to though??

Thanks for any help!

Don't know about TEVA. You can call the pharmacy and see if they have that brand. If they do, the goodrx coupon should still be valid.

30 pills, 20 mg generic sidenafil, Stop Shop pharmacy, under $10 or under $20 with Stop & Shop drug savings program (think goodrx), retail Stop & shop is much much higher (its on my receipt but I shred them). Make sure ur doc writes a script for 20 mg pills (lung cancer pill), not 25/50/100 mg (ED pill). USA insurance companies pay $0.65 a pill on the formulary for 20 mg lung cancer/Pulmonary edema/emphazema sidenafil pills. Teva is the most common maker of generic sidenafil. Once in a blue moon I get Greenstone brand from the pharmacy. There is no price difference, just letters & nums on the pill from the generic company. Its a drug from a registered and licensed USA pharmacy. Its not made FRESH with Pyrex and baking soda in the back room of CVS. Walmart is cheapest WITHOUT Goodrx/its clones, IME. Goodrx is cheaper at the chain pharmacies than walmart.

Am I reading this shit right? OP is likely paying $$$$+ for the pussy but is balking at the $22 viagra??
Let me be more specific about the CVS gouging. I was paying $84 dollars for 5 TEVA Sildenafil pills. $84 X 6 = $504. That would amount to 30 pills by the way.

I then filled the same script with Wegmans and received 30 50MG TEVA Sildenafil pills for $22 dollars, I’d say that’s quite a difference to most people.

I misstated when I said I was receiving 50 pill earlier, it was in fact 30.

Perhaps you didn’t read my posting correctly or It needed more detail. If per chance you were simply bored and don’t feel that it’s a big deal to pay $482 more for the same drug, please enlighten me.

Also, I’m really seeking only the TEVA brand and don’t believe all generics consisting of the “same ingredients” are in fact the same, and as effective.

Thats called "placebo effect". You once had a very positive, memorable experience with
the TEVA brand and you have convinced yourself it is superior. Many variables can contribute to a better effect; how much you ate that day, what you ate, when you ate, sleep, exercise, aspirin or Advil, etc. Good luck with your TEVA search. Its still the same active ingredients. TEVA does not procure a different ingredient. They all buy it from the same group of suppliers. Same ones as Pfizer buys from. I used to work there. Its just powder pressed into a tablet and then coated.

What’s the main ingredient?
