Just wondering if any of you gents have gone thru with this procedure. Good bad or no effect.

Some people get life changing pain relief from spinal cord stimulation. Others receive limited benefit. In the worst case, a small group may have complications from the procedure to implant the device. It's very important to select a doctor who is highly experienced implanting this technology and has a good track record of success with his/her patients. I can't point you to a reference, but I recall reading at one point that 80% of patients get a 50% reduction in pain from spinal cord stimulation.
