The Golden Age of Mongering

I miss the old days. When I got into the hobby I loved going to the Golden Dragon in Berkeley. I rang the bell, and while I waited for the door to open, I could hear the stamped of high heels while the available girls got into a review line. A true brothel. I always figured that every girl I didn't pick would remember me (I was younger and naive). Some girls were great, some not so much. And the girls I liked I could pre-book, which led to great experiences, and sadness when they left the business. I suppose today a "line up" is misogynistic (as it always has been), but now not acceptable. You take the roll of the dice (I suppose the kgirl websites are kind of a line up, but virtual. You don't get to pick from a line up in person).
Does anyone know of a place, in the East Bay, South Bay, Peninsula, etc. where you can "meet" each provider in person as a group?

I think it was the Golden Gypsy, on Telegraph and Carleton? When the owner was busted they found tapes of sessions , the creep would tape the action…

Some needs to get chronicle books to publish an “oral history of the golden age of whore mongering”.
a true to life movie or documentary on the stuff we're reviewing here would be awesome (and horrifying at the same time lol). As many years as I've been doing this and as many people on here having identical experiences to me, I still feel like it's a well kept hidden secret to the masses. There have been tons of movies on prostitution and escorts, but I don't believe I've ever seen one on AMPS. I kinda wanna keep it that way, but would also be cool to see it properly documented.

I wish someone had archived the old "Redbook" site - that alone would be a treasure trove of historical information. I'd enjoy just reading all the shit I posted back in the day. This site strikes me as serviceable replacement. I agree that the hobby seems to be a well kept hidden secret from the muggles, and it really should stay that way.

not sure how though, everyone I know is aware of these places, but I think on the surface they just think HJ’s are all that’s happening. If they only knew or cared to dig deeper.

Yeah, it seems the less light that is shined on AMPs the better. But Jesus, my own experiences are kinda mind blowing when some old memories tumble back into my mind.
I agree. My ATF at Golden Gypsy gave me an autographed copy of her music CD (it's Vietnamese pop from the 2000's). She was amazing - future ex-wife amazing. I lament all of the great providers I've "lost". It's why I now try to get direct contact info from the girls I meet and like, in case they move on. Although I'm finding the flip side is, they contact me and I have to dance around why I can't visit. Certainly can't say I'm visiting someone else today.

I miss the early 2000s.
I'd monger with so many options in the South bay, then head up to Market st cinema in SF on the weekends.

Was it the golden Gypsy? Golden dragon was in sf, where I had some of the best times of my life, Gina, Chris, Blue and about 30 others
