I think it depends on the place and the experience. Getting shorted on time and a mechanical HJ along with a lousy massage for example, is not worth a $60 tip in my opinion.

The prices are set according to what the market will accept. If you guys continue to pay the increases, the increases will continue.

but that seems to be what's happening. i went to one place and paid the hf. then there was no massage, it went right to ST and release and out. i said whadda bout massage? and she didn't want to partake.

Some spas don’t want to give massage, they have no idea of where to even begin. They want you in and out ASAP.

Ok, Saturday morning was self shower, assisted dry off
Covered me cause I was chilled
Nice K style massage with oTC and UTC roaming for about 25 min
Uncovered and body to body for a bit
Then ST & playing
Flip and the usual finale
60-1 and done no negotiation no demands just like usual

If the HF goes up so be it
And IMO a little more tip for great time would not be an issue for me

HJ from .4 to .6 is 50% increase, far more than inflation. My paycheck hasn't gone up this much in the past 10 years.

I always like a good massage so I would not have been happy with an experience like that. For that I would have probably tipped less than $40 and never go back which I will guess is how you feel too.

No need for union. If the asking price is unreasonable such as more than $100 for fs, just say the magic words:
"Just massage please".
Works wonders.

Instead of giving extra tip over the standard, I visit them more often.. and that makes them more happy.. So in say 5-6 visits, I can squeeze another visit.

I can remember paying .4 house fee and .4 tip for basic massage/hj back in 1989. I dont think paying .2 more for either now is out of line, providing the service was good. When you look at how the cost of most things have skyrocketed since then. this hobby is still a relative bargain....within reason.

...In that case I would have asked to speak to MMS on being shorted, Funny you mention that, yesterday I just wanted to go straight to ST, but the provider said do a little massage 1st, after all the fun and games was over we chatted and she explained that MMS gets upset if the client leaves early, it means he wasn't happy.....I was like yeah right, she just wanted to hang out B4 having to work again I bet...others are just greedy for more customers

I've noticed in the Philly area, some amps are charging 80 for the hf, and fs is 1.4

Needless to say, I'm not going back to those places. That kind of $$ I'd rather go into the city and get a guaranteed good time.
