I feel like I’m talking to a bunch of first graders -

You’re or anyone on the board isn’t trafficking - the place they busted is - point being they stay there investigating for months or years - they want to make sure it’s not ongoing.

So many people on this board , their first reaction is to jump on something , criticize , or discredit it instead of reading it thoroughly.

Also, as per the NY Post (not my favorites news source, but take it as you will) they raided 14 "brothels" and made zero arrests. Also, the two ringleaders are pretty hot. Sociopaths (allegedly) but hot.

One of the prevailing theories is that the Chinese gov. created a high end honey pot spa with the intention of compromising high ranking civilian and government personnel; judges, LEO, military contractors, etc.

That story is ongoing but it's the only spa in DC that got busted. Something to think about next time you are debating whether or not to verify using identification traceable back to your true identity.

Not true, you could be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Years ago we did a promotion for a place in Little Italy. Turns out the place was mobbed up. Our delivery person, got caught up in a sweep. He was arrested, booked, has a record, had to get an attorney, and go to court. He was subjected to a lot of cynicism and eventually his record was expunged, as his case was thrown out. He had to go to hell and back. Point being, sometimes you just in the worng place at the wrong time. Bada Bing

Nope. They were based in Flushing, but the crimes were committed in multiple locations, crossing State lines (outside NY), thus making it Federal.

No because it’s interstate with a host of federal implications and possible scenarios whereby charges - real or fabricated could be levied against you .

Sometimes they squeeze your cajones just to see what pops out - who do you know ? What were you doing there ? Sure sure sure you’re nice guy just driving her home - till you came in her mouth .

That can really go south on you quickly
