Agree that it's a lot more common for a man to skip out on his family than a woman. No idea why its like that. Every guy who does it probably has a different reason.

Reasons 1-4 why you never marry (or have kids with) an uneducated woman who lacks personal career ambitions. That’s why the whole trad wife movement is fools gold. Some of us got married when we were young, (relatively) poor and naive. I'm fairly certain that if I had mentioned a prenup when I proposed to my wife, she would have told me to go fuck myself. She definitely could have gotten herself another man without much trouble back then. But we are still together and despite everything (including the Hobby), have to say it worked out okay. Despite some on these boards dumping on Trad-Wives, my wife was a Trad-Wife decades before the term for it was coined. I've seen a lot of bad (sometimes outright psychotic) behavior in women since and I often count my blessings that I didn't end up with psycho-bitches like them. And that includes some of the SBs I've interacted with. Even with no prenup, I'd do it again.

The answer to both questions is: I don't think so, but I don't know for sure. Only she really knows, but has kept quiet.

She probably suspects, but has no real proof. And I'll never 'fess up. Ironically, the fact that I haven't complained about no sex for the last 10+ years probably makes me seem more suspicious.

She knows that whatever I do, I'm not going to leave her. We got each other's back.

I was 25, she was 40. Both highly sexual and skilled. Not a trad wife. We earned about the same back then. A prenup was never an issue. The problems began at menopause. She knew I had a side piece a while ago, but over time (35 years married), she accepted that I am not sexual. In some ways, she'd be right. At best, I get sex 1-2 times a week. When I can travel with a willing partner, it's more like 3-5 times a week. At our peak, it was 3 times a day! But obviously she is wrong about whether I have shut down completely. I doubt she'd divorce me even if she knew I fooled around. I've been the breadwinner and provider for 20+ years. Divorce would leave her all alone. She would HATE that! We've had each others' backs for a long time. Sickness and health...

Yeah, for me too. Menopause is the great wildcard. It's one of those things that people can tell you about, but you don't really grasp it until you have to deal with a partner who goes through it. I do know a few women who claim their sex drive actually went up after menopause, but they are definitely the exceptions.

My wife had hers very early, starting aged 40! It was short too, she says the average length is 7 years, hers was done and done in maybe 5. Now five years after all that, her sex drive is stronger and more focused. Doctor claims the early onset and short length is from LSD we took probably way too much and way too long in our teens and twenties. Either way, big big bonus! Many of my pals their wives are beginning it now (US average age of onset is 51!), and they are fucking terrified! The men too!

Fortunately, or unfortunately, there was a "Married but Looking" section on Yahoo. As wifey was winding down, I met a FWB (married, now divorced, my fault). She was having a bad change of life, and went for the hysterectomy. She turned into a baby batter beast! Could not get enough jizz or the taste of her own juices. If I was worn out, she'd nurse it out, and swallow like it was honey. Almost ruined our lives. Pretty much ruined hers.

I asked her if she would fulfill a fantasy recently. And she agreed. She's older, overweight, etc. But I bet she can still finish like a pro!
