Hello all. I just wanted to get your perspective on the recent vice article regarding AMP’s in Flushing and generally in the US. I just think it’s refreshing to see this perspective on an industry that has been satanized so much in the media. I like the fact that it is no longer taboo to point out that these girls are easy targets for cops and politicians to look like heroes when, in fact, they are the ones committing some of the most heinous crimes against these girls. From harassment, to straight up sexual assault. I have been lucky enough to be able to form a somewhat more personal relationship with a few of these ladies over the years. And a good portion of them admit to have been harassed or blackmailed by law enforcement for sex or money. The article is also one of the few that is pointing out, from good sources, that human trafficking is the exception, not the norm in this industry. But again, very easy target to get political points.
No offense to law enforcement hobbyists out there. It’s well know every job will have rotten apples.
