The volume of reviews for certain places may also draw unwanted attention. With the current access structure one cannot even ask people not to submit duplicative reviews that add no useful information.

So what do you suggest?

I myself like the structure of the site, as there should be some reward for providing info. And I think you get what, 30 days access per review? That means all you have to do at minimum is go to, and review, one place every 29 days....that's not asking for much.
