What’s the playbook for verification with privacy?

Im asking for help from the veterans here. I’m interested in finally going through verification for orgs, but I’m definitely not handing over any real sensitive info.
How are you guys doing it?

Just redact the parts that are actually sensitive, like your full last name, DL number, age, etc. Really all they want is a photo of you.

I got in before they started asking for the crazy stuff. I'm not really sure what information I would be willing to give. I'd probably give a LinkedIn page to the more reputable orgs. I think they are trustworthy enough not to let it get out. Of course, all you would need to do is give a LI page of someone that looks similar to you and then go by that name. If that's not enough, then I'd move on.

A C-org, however, I would give NOTHING...other than describing who I am so they know that I match the description when I show up.

If you guys don’t want to give your real info maybe a fake Id will do the job . Like the one you used to get to get at the bars when you were under 21 .

How much is that gonna cost you . Another 1$ but I lest doesn’t have your real name and info . Just saying

I guess I’m operating under the assumption that these orgs may be comprised at any point in the future. A fake id or fake LinkedIn makes sense.
