Why do amp girls work so much?

I am aware of AMP women who drive Lexus and Mercedes, own multiple properties in America and S. Korea. Vacation in Vegas and the Caribbean multiple times per year and require investment portfolio managers to help with their finances.
I know plumbers and carpenters freezing their fucking asses off working outside, or breaking their backs in tight spaces, 95 degree heat, having tools stolen, etc. and are struggling to buy their kids Christmas presents and make the truck payment at the same time.
I applaud them all for working hard, and being satisfied with who they are!

If you look at things through a Western lens, then (yeah) it looks terrible.
However:
1. The reason these girls are primarily here is to make $$ (for any number of reasons), not to have a good time. A lot of them have some combination of debts and family to take care of back home.
2. Many speak little or no English & are unfamiliar with the culture. They also typically don't have cars or drive. So traveling or being out-on-the-town is not a lot of fun for them. Many have flat-out old me they consider America "boring", probably for this reason. Others may be a little afraid of American in general. So, compared to the outside world, inside the spa may seem much more comfortable to them.
3. Some of them work very hard in China, so they are used to long hours. Others are just not that sophisticated and may have spent a lot of time at home doing not much anyway.
4. It is not all "work". Many of these girls spend the majority of their day sleeping, watching TV, playing games, surfing the net, cooking and talking. Especially if they work in a place where they get 3 or fewer customers per day (which is not unusual). Some of them complain more about cleaning chores they have to do around the spa than servicing customers.
However:

I keep telling them to stop falling into the american trap of spoiling the kids until they do not understand how work translates into success. They may be disappointed in their children but they will absolutely be disappointed with their grandchildren who turn into fat, dumb, lazy american citizens.

When I have asked them about what they like about being here in America they say that the air is cleaner (!), the food/fruit/vegetables are more plentiful, and that they earn much more money here.
They have been taught that if they are arrested once or twice it's not a big deal. So they don't worry about it.
They are amused by customers who bring them flowers or chocolate. Flowers are a "waste of money" and not many have a sweet tooth!
They miss their families but wechat/facetime with them almost every day.
They send money back home.
They have many options to choose from when it comes to having a customer want to date them (or more).
Only a small percentage actually go to school to learn or improve their English (those who do go before they begin work). Most learn it from their interactions with their customers.
