I’ve recently read some reviews where the author had a very different experience than mine. (That’s not really a surprise because we are, after all, different. We have different likes and priorities)
I think it illustrates why we need a site like this and miss our dear departed SH.
There were a few mongers on SH with whom I had shared tastes (Alonzo, Royce Brooks, and Swenson to name a few). I found that when they rated a provider highly, I was likely to have a similar experience.
My hope is that this site will help me align with simpatico mongers like SH did.

Former SH user myself though I dropped out before they shut down. Too many trolls and idiots just trying to stir up trouble among the mongers. Just found this site the other day. As others have said SH seemed a bit more organized with the spas/reviews. Not sure if the level of detail in reviews is good for the business in the long run.

Agree about the level of detail. I worry about this information becoming too open. At SHs, there were a group of guys who got to know and trust each other. The dirty details were always sent back channel. This way, we knew who we were dealing with (well, as best as you can). Maybe we need to start that here...keep it on the lowdown by creating a "conversation".
