“Did you eat lunch” question from providers

Does anyone else always get this question from providers? I understand that they do it because it is an easy icebreaker. But I swear almost every provider asks me this every session.

Are they teaching this strategy at Amp University?

It is a cultural thing. Asking “have you eaten?”, or more specifically “are you full?” is a greeting for interacting socially. It is pretty much similar to an American saying “how are you doing?”.

I'm asked that if I go in the early afternoon. Usually it's just an icebreaker. I usually go in the morning and they always have if I've eaten breakfast.

On one occasion I was invited to stay and join my provider after a session, the owner/mamasan and two other girls for dinner, she fills a small bowl of rice, hands it to me then proceeds to feed me food from the main dish, to my amazement nobody at the table reacted, they just ate like it was normal practice.

Last time I got asked, I said no, and the girl said she was hungry and asked if we can go to a “pocha” which I remembered from being stationed in Korea. She was amazed I knew what she was talking about. It was a slow night as it was snowing pretty heavily. She took a shower and we left together and go eat chicken feet and soju lol. Almost 3 years ago now and been seeing her outside the shop ever since

They often ask that. Like you said, it's an icebreaker. Another often asked question is "Are you working today?" or some variation

Agree with the cultural assessment. In Tagalog (Philippines), one type of a "Hi How are you" greeting commonly used literally translates to "Have you eaten?"

The other girls did not react because they wanted you and the girl who was feeding you to enjoy the moment. (y)

Korean style chicken and Soju never disappoints. I know what you had for dessert. ;)

As others said, in their cultures it is a standard question to ask, with the requisite reply from them to your reply, that as their guest they may offer you something.

If you like earning YMMV points, always take them up on a meal offering. I have had some of the best times I ever had in an AMP when joining them for meal. If you know how to use chopsticks, it will surprise and or impress them, and don't be surprised or offended when they never ever let your bowl go empty. Turn away 10 seconds and it will ALWAYS be refilled.

This is normal in many many cultures. They don't see communal germs as a thing like we do in the West. First time I had a traditional meal in a village in Afghanistan, my guys were completely taken aback and some even turned their noses up at the layout. In that culture, the meal is served communally, you eat from the dishes or transfer to your bowl with either bread as your scoop or with your RIGHT hand (never ever with your LEFT!). The guys who turned up their noses were invited by the host to not come back ever.

Way to go Steve, the girl is just trying to make you feel comfortable and welcoming and you have to make her feel like shit!...just busting your balls.

I've been asked this also. As others have mentioned already, in parts of China it's a way of asking "how you are you?", it's not actually an invite to eat nor a real curiosity if you have indeed eaten already.
The cultural differences are pretty interesting to me.

I've had the same experience a couple of times. It's really pleasant to be included and the food is fantastic.

Amps are the spice of life, you get washed, rubbed, sucked, fucked and top it off with a meal, what’s not to love.
I love to be asked to stay for lunch/dinner after a great session with my provider and the other girls. Also, it's really nice to go out with them to eat. I had one girl that took me out to lunch after our sessions, she ordered a ton of food and payed the bill at the end. I always left with two meals of leftovers. There have been a few others that I have been out to eat with many times too.

I love when they feed me by hand, especially in an American restaurant with the other customers watching. The other customers get quite an array of looks on their faces, especially because of the age difference between the girl and I. Asian, especially Korean, girls love to pamper their men, it's a sign of respect and love. Meeting all of these wonderful Asian girls has been a great experience.
