To me showing your appreciation is only appropriate if the woman is at all special to you.
I have bought small gifts of all types, most of the time some type of food to share during or after the visit. The list is too large to write here. Just find out what they really like.
In addition remembering special holidays and their birthdays is also important just like any other friend. Of course these gifts vary depending on the level of connection with a the girl.
It also doesn't hurt to remember or include the Emo or Mamasan sometimes.

Oh did I forget to mention Macy's gift card. We know they all love to hit the mother ship on 34th st when they head back to Flushing's. My ATF couldn't wait to send me pics of sexy clothes she bought. Then when she came back to work she would be so excited to wear the outfits for me.

I don't give VS gift cards but I do buy special gifts there. It is great to see them model them or send pictures later. I usually buy less sexy practical garments that they can wear all the time. They seem to like them the best.
