Yeah, LE is definitely checking review sites and has been using them to target AMPs. LE gets a call from the next door business or that sweet little old lady with a Bible complaining about the AMP, and the first thing they do for intelligence gathering is to cull all the reviews they can on the business. Time and again, this is LE 101 for AMP raids.

Dude, I highly doubt old ladies with bibles even know what AMPS are or where one could be found. You don't have to condemn every religious person in the country just because once you had the unfortunate luck of getting caught up in an AMP raid.

One of two things: either the site is selling to marketers based on keyword search traffic etc or ...they’re looking for a way to facilitate the closing of AMPs.

I’m keeping my reviews as vanilla as possible. Details are done via pm and with established members only.
I know that anyone can start posting bogus reviews and become an “established” member. I like to think that I can weed out some of those fakes. Nothing is perfect but it’s something.

It takes a village and with enough trusted members already, I think Someone between us will sniff out the fake reviews.

I understand the need for discretion but my experience has been that the two most common ways that LE gets involved is because either: 1) surrounding tenants (commercial or residential- location is critical) complain or 2) a spouse or SO finds out that her partner frequents a place and then calls the cops to report the AMP. I really believe that cops in most municipalities do not swing into action unless there is pressure to do so from one of these sources. In any event a cop could infiltrate these boards with minimal effort.

Nope. The first thing the police do is send in one of their own undercover to check the place out. He may or may not sample the services.

The issues about sites like this are they can add additional evidence that is provided here that can be used to substantiate the claims before the search warrent and the bust or in court hearings.

I think that's a fair point but how would you stop LE from accessing the info here if they're determined to do so? Btw LE is not stupid. They know what's going on at these places.

Just keep reviews generic. PM with trusted members only. Best way to be safe. I just can't figure out why the creators of this site remain so silent on or pleas for security and discretion???

I tend to agree. I think LE does know what's going on and any cop with half a brain could "play nice" and get all the info they wanted (on this site or others). I also agree that reviews should be toned down. However, if they are toned down to the point where they are information free, what is the point? Some people will only share info via PM. I'm fine with that; in fact, its smart. On the other hand, some of us only want to be PMed occasionally.

I will also say that one of my main reason for "toning down" my reviews is to keep the providers from figuring out that I wrote a given review. That is, associating my identity with my VJLUTZ handle.

You think the sky is falling. It isn't, calm down.

Fact is its just a few of you who keep chirping on about discretion. Meanwhile Spa hunters got shut the fuck down. And they tried to speak in codes. Le knows what's up. I agree with reviews should be private for only members that's all I agree with.

Review sites are for reviews. All the hundreds if not thousand plus reviews that are detailed tell a different story than the one you've tried painting about all the pleas.
