What kind of providers do you see? I'm not sure I would have the energy to indulge as much as you, even if I had the financial means. Are you seeing Spitzer's ho types that cost $1-3k/session?

Can't argue with anything you're saying on some level. I'm not excusing the bad behavior, but I'm trying to look at the act as separate from the person. And even then, there are definitely scummy people, but I try not to let that weigh me down...better things to expend my mental energy on...like lurking around escort boards, lol.

How was the talent and experience in Spain and Germany? I was in Spain recently but didn't partake. Haven't been to Germany in many years, but I hear from friends that it's totally legalized and they even have a ho "buffett", so all you can bang? One more thing about forgiveness, it benefits us, the forgiver more than the one being forgiven. They likely don’t care that they have hurt us and they have moved on. We on the other hand, the one hurt, needs to move on.
Success story: This one is fresh on my mind as it happened just the other day. I was pretty good friends with a provider. All of the sudden she disappeared. Was told some guy met her and took her out of the business. I had her WC information and she said she met a nice man and decided to give it a try. We continued to communicate sporadically, not very much, not even on holidays just every now and then. The other day, I was shopping and we ran into each other. It was a nice reunion. She is happily married. Needless to say other providers she worked with, were very jealous. They still are! The thing about this one, she wasn’t the best looking at that spa, despite all those that rotated in, she was OK, the others were always better looking. Her business never suffered, she always seemed busy. She was a very pleasant person. I swear, she looked better than I remember her looking and she was much happier. She left the business completely!
Another one is in the works: One of the providers I see said she is moving towards the alter. She called to tell me she just got engaged and wants to celebrate with me. Asked me to come over after they closed and for snacks and wine and whatever. She took the opportunity to introduce me to others and said she would be leaving the business shortly.

I've had some experience with various types of counselors over the years. Unfortunately, it seems like they are 20% trying to actually help you and 80% trying to make you dependent on their services. Without getting into too much detail, I saw some pretty ugly stuff that soured me on the whole profession (PM me if you really want details). Just another reason why I'm so cynical.
I'm in the twilight stage of my career, so I do a lot of "mentoring" (which is counseling of a sort). You always have to be careful though. Lots of people out there can't handle the truth.
