All.

I have received a huge number of private messages from members with zero comments zero reviews and overall “fishy” feeling.

I just received one from a member listed as joining in 2018 with no postings and no reviews. This person wants to know details about my recent reviews, costs etc.

This feels like LE. It makes me nervous. I am going to be very veiled in my future reviews. Please be careful about responding to private messages asking for information.

Has anyone else received this type of request after reviewing?

I moved here from a Christian evangelistic dead zone of the country. We have a good thing and need to protect it.

Yes, I have had a few of those. You have the option of filtering them out. If it sounds fishy, trust your instincts.

I think its to be expected if you are active and write reviews other mongs will contact you. It's not always LE. Trust your gut, and share what you feel comfortable. I have told a few people you need to do some visits and reviews then we can talk, nothing personal. Or sometimes I am intentionally vague. But we all know this entire board is fantasy fiction anyway and for entertainment purposes only.

I have only had a couple of that situation overall since I joined, but for the most part any PMs I've had have been mongers with fair history.

I'm feel that's the best way to go about it. Direct messages are kind of a pain but better than having too much info public.

Yes, has received a few and didn't respond to those that were suspicious to me.

Nothing is 100% foolproof. But the more difficult you make it for LE to see sensitive info, the better. Personally, I will read through a person's reviews to get a sense of whether they're just copying the mold or offering something new. I'll also read his comments. If it's always "any extras?" and "what was the damage?", then forget it. I'll always err on the side of protecting the providers.
