No Offense to Car Salespeople (he/she/him/her/they/whatever/no offense). Pre pamdemic, Car Sales people were the absolute scum of the earth. Post Pandemic, they have become 10 times worse. They have no cars to sell, but they want a $5,000 (or more) deposit on a new car, they cannot tell you what it's going to cost since it's not yet on the lot, but when it comes, they will tell you the price, and you have 24 hours to pick it up or you forfeit your deposit. REALLY? Do I go to Shop Rite, fill up my cart with groceries, then checkout and pray how much the butter or the carrots are going to ring up for? We are suckers, for sure. The car people never want this to end. They will milk this shortage for as long as possible, It's insane, for sure. I'm in NJ, perhaps other parts of the country are a little different. Thoughts? I've looked at buying a Toyota, Jeep Cherokee, Lexus, and that's all I get. Scum Car Sales People. And they are proud to be the scum of the earth. I know, they are taking advantage, like the cost of homes, jet skiis, used cars, whatever.
