Simply put... He went to the AMP because there was less risk (in hindsight... an assumption that didn't hold up lol). If he has his own masseuse, he would have to pay her either on salary or contract. That is a paper trail but also... He has to pay her good or to keep quiet. Keep in mind that what happend to the late Stan Lee (accused of assult in Chicago 2018 by a contracted masseuse). Kraft tried to keep if simple but obviously... Florida had very different ideas.

I don't think there are hidden cameras om the massage rooms where the customers are only hearing boxers. Or some earing nothing at all. It must be some type of privacy violation. No judge would sign off on it. IF they are caught going in and out of the massage room, they can just deny it...….

Sounds like some woman customer was in there for a "regular" massage and she figured out what was going down....and she made a formal complaint that kicked off this whole thing....

Kraft is a celebrity. Can he claim whatever he paid is hush money rather than money for sex, and hush money is not against law, at least according to Giuliani. Any lawyers here?

Used to be a Korean Spa in West Milford NJ next to an Italian Restaurant .......Mama San disclosed that one of the more shapely girls gave one of "The Short Arm Of The Law" cops a skin flute session and the place was not bothered!

Trust me the Football commissioner works for Kraft .......ain't dick going to happen to Kraft!
He will absolutely get fined and suspended.

He has 31 other owns that are all going to be screaming for him to get fined or suspended. Especially ones who have been already. It’s just a matter of how big a fine and how long of a suspension.

conspiracy theory - this Kraft thing is all staged....

NFL and the team owners have been losing money since this kneeling business. NFL recently allegedly paid 80 million to Kaepernick to go away......
this is just a distraction.

How many LE do you know spend this type of resources - surveillance cameras (with all the paperwork with a judge), staged bomb scare, road blocks to question johns. and this went on for months. They must have couple guys full time on this. All just for victimless crimes?? They could have sent vice detectives for couple visits and the place would be shut down in a week.

No doubt Kraft is the target, not the spa itself. Those LE want to make the fame by catching a big fish. If just targeting the spa, couple of weeks of surveillance cam is good enough not need a couple of months.
On the other hand, such practice may not be legal as it violates people's privacy. Table shower and massage are legal inside the spa and such surveillance camera did capture those actions as well. There might even be women inside to have massage. Recording what happened inside the spa is violating people's privacy. Putting cam inside is just like putting a cam inside a restroom with the excuse to stop people selling drug inside. Pretty sure that Kraft's lawyer will fight that in the court. Once that video cannot be used as evident, the case will be thrown out.

It was over $100 ($100 plus an unidentified bill). For a 15 min for what amounted to a "nuzzle job", he OVERPAID...

I always pay the house fee with cash and tip the masseuse at the end with cash. I thought this was safe or safer since there is no 'negotiation' of money for 'sex acts' occuring. After reading the published police report it looked like some guys were charged with a crime for being touched. Apparantly if the masseuse initiates something and you do not defer then this is a crime ? They imply in the article that the house fee was inferred payment for prostitution ? Would this stand up in court or is the damage done anyway once you have been charged and your name is in the paper ?
It's definitely a fluid situation legally because (I've heard) that what providers do now is just provide the service and the guy just tips on the back end with NO mention of money or additional compensation for any additional service. So that if it is a sting, on either side, there's plausible deniability and no verbal quid pro quo. The masseuse can simply claim that she found him attractive and got carried away with no expectation of compensation. The customer can simply claim that what happened was in the course of two adults finding each other attractive with no business component to it.

That's the thing with a 'social crime' like prostitituon. Where does dating stop and prostitution begin legally? If there's a video camera present and they say that they're doing porn or a webcam show, does it then become legal?
