This is an interesting view. You discussed several points. I’ll only comment on one.

Spending money on this hobby which has therapeutic value in many instances is less costly in terms of time and money than other hobbies and interests.
I too have heard of wives finding out and divorcing their husbands. I’ve seen far more divorces caused by a expensive time consuming hobbies like season football tickets and the day long tailgating, weekends fishing trips, car races and just sitting around the house drinking beer.
I would submit that this hobby has saved many men and their marriages.
The key is like all things in life, know your limitations and exercise due caution. One point that is never discussed, is what it takes to stay grounded while partaking in this hobby. Regardless of single, married or divorced, it’s imperative to realize the hobby is a break from reality. It is not reality or an alternative reality.

1 of your points is kinda true. Yes I do know people that had spent alot of money gambling, football and so on. But as a family you have to look out for everyone and not these yourself so I do agree with you.
But regardless to call having sex with strangers a "hobby" is very odd and on the sametime you also sneaking money away from your family to do this so-called "hobby" and passing around lies so you can meet with the people. It's this overall wrong.

But living my life thinking that if you're a good person, work hard and do good things in life good things will happen. Later to find out getting (almost like a spat in my face) that it's not true and the people that get the most out of life are the people that put others under to make themself happy. Almost like what I'm seeing on here saying "cheating on your wife is ok even if you have kids" these shows how very far life is for some.
Like if I had a family or kids even if I wasn't having fun with my wife I would still be so happy to spend time with my kids... I just find it odd things people take for granted.

I feel it has it's pros and cons. For me it's the best way to have casual relations as a single man and in general period. Society stigmatize us like we all are psychos, 200lbs overweight, social awkward, and something is wrong with us paying for it upfront. That's why people thing we are lesser man or simps. We are far from simps. A simp to me is giving a chick money without getting nothing in exchange. Ex tipping crazy on onlyfans and buying her things off her amazon wish list. You raise a fair point. Who did what to you? Who spat in your face? Who put you down? How old are you?
Just curious because I don't believe that only bad guys and bad girls are successful, or that others have to be put down to win. It is a dues paying society, pay your dues and go after what you want, but don't expect to show up and be given everything because you are a hard worker. Competition is normal, and it can be a contact sport.
My case. Married too young. Our kids are tweens we decided we cant stand each other we sleep in diff bed for 3 yes already. I pay for everything in this house. We look like a happy couple without the sex and romance. I pay for my ATF provider because she takes care of me in the areas i am missing at home.
It is a simple fact that no one person can take care of all of our needs, an Asian woman (not a provider) who I spent time with for over a decade opened my eyes to this way of thinking. She would say that her husband was a good provider, that is why she married him. But romance and sex, and other interests she had were non existant. She would never divorce him because she would only be trading his one set of problems for a different set of problems wih a different guy.
