I'm going to be following my own advice, specifically #5.
This time, I'm going to save up the money necessary to fix my teeth lol! I never got braces as a kid, so the chompers aren't exactly straight. Plus as I've gotten older there are a few more spaces in my smile than I would like.
So, I'm putting down this hobby just long enough to save up a few thousand for a better smile.
I know it's not deep or anything, but looking in the mirror and feeling handsome is one of the things I enjoy at least as much as hobbying.
It's on the same list as nice vacations and my motorcycle (which was another thing I once stopped hobbying to save up for. No regrets!)
More importantly, if I can't put down this hobby long enough to save the money for something else I want
, then I am going to stop and take a serious look at myself and whether this hobby has become an addiction.
Because, the only way to keep from becoming addicted to this hobby is by making sure you have other things you want just as much as hobbying and are willing to take time off from hobbying for!
You've got to have other things that you not only say you're willing to take a break from hobbying for but that you actually have taken a break from hobbying for.
So see you all in the funny papers and I'm begging ya, don't stretch em all out before I get back! Lol
