I hear ya but the thing is: I did not learn anything I didn't know beforehand. I knew it was not a good idea from the git-go. It was predictable that it would be turbulent and end badly with hurt feelings on both sides. And, on top of that the $$ I spent + the risk of getting caught. All those things turned out to be true. But it happened anyway despite my better judgement. Which just goes to show that the heart will often win out over the (big) head. That, plus, the irrational part of you desperately wants the fuking roller coaster ride. Because, at the end of the day, its the thrill of the roller coaster ride that makes us feel alive.

It's a form of addiction just like any other, been there done that, luckily I knew when to walk away, there are telltales that if you don't recognize them you're sure to be falling into some kind of deep void.

I am interested to hear how this 'clingy monger' mania manifests itself. Do these guys harass at the spa? Text continually? It must be a near obsession situation that would push a girl away from where she comfortably works I imagine.

Have seen it and heard it too often. Guys get the personal number and/or WeChat and sent constant messages. They block them on WeChat and even the phone or change numbers. Then they show up at the spa repeatedly unwelcome. They hang out untill the girl leaves and either follow her home or mess with her there. It's crazy what can go on with some of these guys.
