One thing I have noticed anout steakhouses is they cater to large groups on expense accounts. If its you and your gf or wife you will not get great service it’s just a fact. 6-8 top is what they want.

Damn, lots of cool posts since I last checked in. Might have to order Japan Premium Beef. I've heard of some terrible things about Mercato billing wise. A little apprehensive.

Cool little anecdote about Caipirihna. Never knew about the whole Pinga thing, although I definitely knows what it means in Spanish lol. I've done Fogo de Chao in the city for that higher end Brazilian AYCE thing. Would recommend.

Bloomin Onions are an amazing gluttony. I used to do Beefsteak Charlie's at Whitestone followed up by a trip to the arcade for family nights when I was a kid.
Next time you go to a Brazilian Restaurant.. Or a Brazilian provider Say Como dizer (Then show a dinner knife) Knife is faca.. Starts a nice conversation.. Also Cheek and pussy are very similar.. Bouchecha (cheek) Bichano (pussy).. Have fun.. Also in Brazil they do not have a W sound,,, Rowboat and robot sound the same..

Yes, it's Wet T-Shirt Time again!!
Here at The Brasserie, home of the tits... huh huh
And it's the charming Mary from Canoga Park Up next in her bid for the semi-finals
Hi, Mary... how'ya doin'?

Thailand, I presume one of the few placed that could come close to comparing to Lauderdale back in the day?
I thought about a trip to Thailand but it's a different culture and I would stand out as a tourist don't know if the police are corrupt over and you have to go through slums to get to where the action is. I heard it's cheap and wild over there but not worth the risk of getting lost and ripped off plus I don't like Thai food and don't want to get Montezuma's revenge. Wish fort Lauderdale was the way it was in the 80s and 90s Non-Stop heavy-duty partying beautiful women nice area great weather and plenty of poontang to go around. The world a couple of times

Ha, wish I knew this before. I went with a Brazilian on my last mongering excursion before shit hit the fan.

Fair points and everyone is different, but personally think Thailand would be worth the research and you may just have yourself a fantastic time. We only live once!

1. There are so many tourists from all over the world. There are also a lot of ex-pats who now just reside in Thailand who enjoy their culture, way of life. The thai people are tremendous, friendly and caring people.

2. The food is fantastic and don’t think you need to be concerned with montezuma’s revenue no more than eating at Taco Bell or a cheaper / dodgy restaurant. If you eat at renowned or higher-quality restaurants I’d say you’d never face an issue. That being said, again I’m sure people have their preferences and no one is here to do that. I find variety as the spice of life :)

3. Don’t believe police corruption is an issue there; probably more risk / concern in New York or other jurisdictions.

4. Sadly doesn’t seem like with technology and the way western civilization has progressed, there won’t be a reversion to the way your old areas were. Best bet to relive those glory days of debauchery are now South East Asia, eastern Europe.

They do have a bad habit of stopping you if you are a foreigner asking to check your passport. They are cracking down on visa overstays. But once in a while, you get a one that will try and hit you with a fine that you can, very conveniently, pay on the spot. But as long as your passport is in order, and you let them know which hotel you’re staying in, you should be OK.

Yea even though it will probably be like 3/4 inch thick, it's way too much to have it in one shot. It's just that decadent and rich. I'll probably cut it in half. Simple Pan Sear. Barely needs any time at all. Always cook to temp but it could really be like just a minute or two a side.

Ended up grabbing one of these for fun just to pique my interest.

Who makes the best steak in NYC. I have few opinions myself. . . personally I think the best steaks aren't made at steakhouses. I like Craft's rib eye a lot. But I haven't been to Keen's in years. Strip House I've heard has gone downhill but when it first opened, holy shit. M. Wells in Long Island City is doing all sorts of bonkers stuff. Roberta's in Brooklyn occasionally drops the bomb with some crazy many day dry aged beef. Yes to Peter Luger but I'm not so interested in Old Homestead. There's just so much cow and so little time. Thoughts?
