Was cited for soliciting recently and looking for an attorney to help. Can anyone referral a good attorney? Seems like there are a lot of sketchy attorneys out there and don't want to get the a crappy one. Need to get this dismissed. TIA

This sounds harsh but I’m hoping it was a store front establishment and not an actual apt complex. I’d find it hard to get caught going to an apt complex unless your just walking around the entrance and L.E know what goes on at that said complex

Yeah, this is a political function of local policing, either city or county. Also, whether if street action or amp. I haven't heard of aamps being targeted.

Smart advice Duncan- for something small like this- you want a public defender if you qualify for one. They tend to know the judges, and work well with all parties (including the DA). If it is something more serious - then research and make sure you have an attorney who is smart, honest and still knows the judge, DA and parties involved. good luck

Thanks for the replies. It was at a hotel. Was coming out to the parking lot after the deed and the cops arrested me. It was in Santa Clara county. If you know of any good attorneys that could handle this, would really appreciate it. Can PM me directly. Thanks everyone

If they know what happens at that specific hotel, I assume they asked what he was doing there and with no creditable reason why, they probably went and assumed it was for mongering reasons.

Cops can cite you or arrest you for anything. It's up to a prosecutor to convict. They may have had no evidence of a crime, hope he said nothing. Sucks they have to waste resources on this with real crimes going on.
