Videotaping at AMPs

Yeah when I heard about Kraft I thought is this legal?
Maybe the spa agreed to allow taping or go to jail?
Maybe they had no choice. Suppose LE got a tip that a bathroom was
used for sex for sale? Are they allowed to set up a camera in the bathroom
of an establishment?
The cops got some two bit judge to approve video surveillance. They faked a bomb scare at the shopping complex where the AMP was, emptied out the place, and then went in and installed cameras in the massage rooms. They also followed guys out of the AMP, pulled them over for a traffic stop, and questioned them what they were doing in the AMP. Tracking devices were also installed on vehicles that may have been connected to the operation of the AMP.

Welcome to Amerika.

If they can get a judge to sign off LE can do as they wish . They don’t even have to convict. The perp walk, public shaming, publicity and expense will destroy anyone.
My lawyer taught me many valuable lessons.
Right/wrong/legal have nothing to do with each other . You can loose money, time, reputation in court but have done nothing wrong.
Stay away, cut your loses. Don’t throw good money at bad.
Lol look at the President. Endless lawsuits, real or made up investigations ,never ending .

For those that will purchasing a rf detector also make sure to check the vents. Especially at places like the aforementioned Collegeville massage. Always thought my one trip there was odd some years back and had a like experience at an amp near where I live. If there is a business above or below the amp the duct work makes an excellent method of hiding surveillance equipment

All this is very disturbing. I do not think raids or crackdowns will go away. All the publicity and coverage can make people more aware of massage parlors, meaning more people may notice the neon sign in the window blaring "open" or the parlor in a strip mall with only males coming and going. Think of all the massage parlors in NJ. Many are not in discreet locations. Depending which route I take back and forth to work I could pass 6 massage parlors and only 1 is somewhat discreet. Maybe independents are better right now, but I am still unsettled about providing some personal information to independent ladies for the screening process, especially since 1 independent I provided personal information was accused of robbing a client last year.

Don't we think there is just a little too much paranoia going on around here? Videos here, cameras there, here a microphone, there a tape recorder, surveillance equipment everywhere...

I definitely would like to see things settle down, but I feel we've crossed a threshold that we'll never get back to. The Kraft arrest is a game-changer and will be used as a reason why all AMPs should be viewed suspiciously. I know of towns that will absolutely not have an AMP, and I see more towns joining that crowd.

Neon signs blaring "open". The newly reopened, former Sena has christmas lights in all front windows, upstairs and down, two neon signs in front and one on the side,
a new sign in front backlit in bright white and was flying an eight foot tall "open" banner for awhile. Talk about discretion.

I agree with Lefty. More towns, especially the "family friendly" towns will not tolerate suspicious massage parlors.

The bullshit in Florida was not an investigation in human trafficking but it appears to be more a publicity stunt. The fake bomb threat to get the cameras in, the fake health inspection to get the ball rolling. It all seems like a stunt to ensnare as many of the customers as possible.

If they found that the women were really living in slave like conditions the police would have tried to remove them from the situation much earlier. Instead they let the investigation go on for a couple of months just to run up the body count of guys coming to the spa. I have yet to read anything about a specific smuggling gang, snakeheads or organized crime.

This was a publicity stunt by TV tough guys whose uniforms make them out to be four-star generals. They have so many wealthy and influential people who got caught in the spider’s web that it is going to be interesting to see how this ultimately plays out. It may blow back in their faces.

If you go on street view and check the 3 addresses the cop report listed for the workers they are all in very nice areas- 2 you can't get to because they look like they are in gated communities- nice addresses for ladies the MSM first said were being trafficked!

It all comes down to three simple words for Robert Kraft "the human touch", why do any of us visit a lovely at an AMP? He's widowed, maybe has a GF, has plenty of money, up in age, owns a very successful NFL team, he can afford the top of the line girls, yet, he finds himself a little place where he visits and gets just what he and many of us are after, that is "the human touch", a little rub, a little tug. I don't judge the man, I'm pulling for him to come out on top, the damage has been done, breaking news/LE holds a press conference, now its all over the news, the non monger folk ask "how could he? "why would he?, we as mongers understand all to well the need to stop by a reliable shop, obviously RK does to, this prostitution charge against RK is a cold slap in the face to the entitled women of America, they marry us, give us some play for a few years if we're lucky, then the well dries up, all the while these lovely Asian women welcome us with open arms, come one, come all. I might just go to the nearest Academy Sports store and purchase myself a Patriot jersey in support of my fellow monger Kraft, one with him holding the SB trophy. F**k the police.

This has probably been mentioned already but this seems mighty suspicious that this unassuming run of the mill strip mall spa got all this attention from LE and JUST HAPPENED to have all these big names as clients.

Freddy; you nailed it with "the
human touch". I was reading
the comments in a NYT article. The SJW's were flocking to the "men are the monsters" comment that the
sherriff made. This monster has a bigger case of the warm and fuzzies for his ATF than for his wife at the moment, and she is strictly R&T. It's the warmth she has shown being reflected back. I still remember a comment made by a female counselor years ago. She said "Do you remember the old saying, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach? It's a lie, the way to a man's heart lies south of his stomach." I think that Asian women understand this better than western women. As far as Kraft, maybe he wanted to remain anonymous due to his deep pockets. We saw what happened with Trump. Even if they are political operatives like Blasey Ford I'm sure they are paid well for their efforts.

Agree with every part of your post except " if we are lucky" fuck that I can never think like that.

Lol that Patriots Jersey that would be awesome if every Man went and bought one now.

Had the radio on while driving to work. 2 different stations talking about massage parlors and how massage parlors are all over the NY/NJ area. Even route 9 was mentioned as a massage parlor hub. On 1 station a guy was saying all these places should be shut down. I just think that more people may be noticing massage parlors.

"Postings from February 2015 to March 2018 on a forum-based website detailed visits involving Asian women supplying sex acts, massages and body rubs for pay."
… sounds like toning it down is where this needs to go. Use of Acronyms should be ok, afterall, who says it is based on the urban dictionary or another obscure source :).
