I'm not worried. My name is not Bob Kraft. I'm John...not my real name, but that's all the girls know me as. So how are they going to identify me? I never pay with a CC. Unless they're tailing me a couple of blocks to my car to get my license plate, or meeting me outside....neither of which happened here. So I'm good....maybe I'll use public transpo, to eliminate any chance of getting a plate. But this doesn't scare me off the hobby one bit.
It's not being brave, it's not believing the hype, the hoopla and getting caught up in the story of the moment.
Remember when internet pirating was a big deal? All the Napster type sites that gave you access to free movies and music, all that your little heart can desire? Then the gov't came out, denounced it, and huffed and puffed about legal ramifications if you continue to use these sites...."we have your IP addresses, we know who you are..." etc. Did you ever hear of anyone getting arrested for it? I didn't. Do you know anyone who actually stopped? I don't.
There are always open investigations into this trade. Vice squads around the country have eyes on these places daily. Are we going to act like we haven't heard of raids going on before this one? Raids happen often in NJ. 40th road in NY is super hot right now. This is nothing new.
They got their kingfish. They've got their pound of flesh. Right now they're feeling themselves because their names are in the headlines, bright and shiny. They've created discussion on the topic of trafficking. Judging on these comments among others, they've probably scared away 15-25% of mongers either temporarily or permanently away from the hobby. And who knows how many for real traffickers have begun to second guess their operation. Mission is accomplished.
The moment we decide to step into one of these places and get more than an above board massage, we understand and accept the risk we take. Nothing has changed on that front. Don't let the big name fool you.

It’s not what LE knows or suspects, it’s about what they can prove, once you walk out of an AMP only you can bust yourself by admitting too play for pay, all a license proves is that you just exited the shop. Seems the number of guys had drastically changed from the initial report, now only 20 or so are being charged, LE didn’t go out and arrest anyone leaving these shops, they threatened folks into turning theirselves in making claim of UC video, out of fear guys came to the PD and admitted guilt, I bet they’re regretting it now. If I ever get pulled over after leaving a shop, I’m not even going to admit to a legit massage, it’s not LE’s business unless I’m being officially charged, still I’ll elect to remain silent, I don’t have to prove my innocence, they have to “prove” my guilt.
I will admit in NYC it's less of a risk in certain areas. I too drive rarely to amps in Manhattan and even if I do. I park blocks away. The amps are in buildings not as conspicuous as suburban amps.
However it's not about letting them fool you. More people amps get shown a light to the more it becomes a risk. More Women demand something especially in the suburbs the more of a risk. That's just a fact. Will it die down? Perhaps if they don't make a big bust in the next 9 mos or so. For now, most especially in the suburbs should stay clear of amps.
