It as the artificial laws concocted after the insidious 19th amendment that put us in this situation.
I'm just happy I can afford to do this 3 to 4 times a week.
Feel really bad for divorced guys paying alimony and child support who feel compelled to wife up with a middle aged bag.

I don't buy that status idea at all. What reasons make paying dor sex a symbol of 'high status'? And in what circles?
It seems to me that if all of this is done in the dark, dim confines of an AMP, paying for your sex does not elevate your status outside the room, or inside the room. If you were bringing your paid 'status booster' to events where status is measured, are those attending so shallow as to say...wow, look at his date, bump up his status? Are those there that weak?

I know what you're getting at. But women have always thrown themselves at low status guys. It's not a recent phenomenon. Like so much with women, it does not make logical sense; however, it may make biological sense as a way to keep the gene pool diverse. Or, as one woman put it: a bad ass makes a girl's heart beat faster.

I disagree a lot. As they always say, prostitution is the oldest profession. It has nothing to do with the 60s.
Aside from that there’s a lot of skilled professional women out there. In my little computer world, we prize women coders and testers over men generally. They’re much more structure and detail oriented, they miss less due dates, and are much less likely to act as prima donnas in front of customers. All my doctors and dentists are women as is my current investments “guy”. It is a different world now, and in some ways it’s much better. In #metoo ways it’s much worse, but that’s a different discussion.
