NFW that was a real review unless he was typing away in his secluded office and the significant other barged in and wanted to see what he was doing..................LOL I wonder how many reviewers have had that every happen causing a "shortie"..............Probably not many just trying to add some humor to this topic that is seemingly impossible to police and solve.

I hate the long drawn out tomes just as much, i don't even read them. Not here to read penthouse forums. Just briefly in a few sentences or brief 2 concise paragraphs cover all the pertinent things that need to be relayed. Don't need a 10,000 word second by second replay of the encounter.
I'm guilty of the long review. I could definitely shave the review down but i just type as if I was talking to a friend.
I'm surprised people hate the long reviews. I'm also guilty of writing probably too long reviews. Aren't those the reviews people are looking for? Otherwise we can just summarize everything to abbreviations and "she was hot"
I do too. I have extra details like why I decided to go to a particular place, checking surrounding areas, traversing within the building, some internal monologue, some specific things to my experiences that won't translate to other mongers, my stamina issues, etc. Knowing two pops are available is useful info, knowing I pop fast does nothing for my fellow mongers other than maybe get a laugh or take solice in not being alone.

No, it's not. Which is why it was rejected. Like we've said repeatedly for years and year, just because you SEE a review in the reviews section does NOT mean it was approved. It just wasn't deleted or removed.

We have strict guidelines of what constitutes a valid review, that gets accepted and approved, and earns site access credit. If it's missing any of the required info and details, they will NOT earn credit.

In other words, don't worry about whether a review is being approved or not...and trust the staff to make that determination. Don't worry about shill reviews or fake reviews or bullshit reviews...there's more than enough content here to satisfy all member's tastes and preferences and style of reviews, so don't give the 2 line, BS reviews any more attention by constantly bumping it up or making comments about it. Just let it die and instead, focus your attention on the tons of great reviews that ARE to your liking.

I agree. More annoying to me are the non moderator guys that have deputized themselves.. telling guys that a post might be better In private message when the topic headline of a discussion is chick's thst do Greek. Or does anyone know a provider who is OK w CIM. ...some guys have way too much time on their hands. As do I sometimes and I w come off as judgemental but it is usually towards guys trying to impose their personal rules on others. My new motto is .. before working what someone else's finger smells like, make sure your own wasn't accidentally in someone's ass either.
very on precisely on point esp those that has seniority ranks here thinking they're way above everyone by being the spot where the sun doesnt shine isnt very beneficial here. no intentions of calling names here cas they know who they are; we all adults here so they should stop acting like 5 years old by giving others a hard time. we are all here for "all intels" and it is up to each individual to use it or lose it, but to try and shake off others by pressing their own judgements, to me it sounds like their egos are not being helpful with intels here.

Judging from the responses, or lack thereof, those "deputies" arent paid much attention.

I don't find that to be completely accurate...most of the veterans here are dispensing their advice in a helpful way, especially to new members. Sure, some of it may sound condescending, but the vast majority that I know and have seen are doing it in a way to guide and mentor newer members.

If I was a new member, I'd read/listen more than I post/comment, be respectful and polite, and take the advice of our senior members...they have lots of knowledge and intel about both the hobby and our board, and I'd listen to them.

Of course, as our new members become veterans, we would expect them to pass on their knowledge and help mentor the new wave of members too.

a lot of new members may have been in this “hobby” for 20-25+ years, the only thing a veteran here would be better at would be the board itself. Then those new members post a review and get shit on because it’s their first review, meanwhile they prob have more experience than the guy shitting on them. This place is interesting in terms of dynamics and hierarchy.

Perhaps so, but they might not know the rules of the board and the guidelines of what's acceptable and what's not. We expect our members to behave and treat each other with respect, and the best way to moderate a board is to let the members police themselves. Personally, as one of the mods here, I'd rather not have to intervene in threads unless it's absolutely necessary...the members should figure it out themselves.

And we also expect our veterans to guide and mentor new members, and set a good example. Of course, there will always be a few bad apples out there, but for the vast majority of our members, they are great dudes and always willing to help out.

There is no hierarchy...there is no member more "important" than your next one. That said, there are members who have earned credibility and respect with their reviews, intel, posting history, and willingness to help out our newer members. Those are always looked upon more favorable...that's just how life works.

You say a new member posts a review and gets shit on? And I'd say that's the exception...not to say that it hasn't happened, but if it did, it would be handled properly so that it doesn't happen again.

maybe “shit on” was a poor choice of words. They tend to get criticized on the review count and years joined over the quality of the review itself. I don’t even think they read the review, they just jump right to the hazing or whatever it is. Not a good look to encourage lurkers to participate.

Show me an example of where that happened...a high quality, well-written review that was criticized because a member was new...

Both of mine and I’ve seen it on others. You’ll see examples on mine where early on someone pops up with that specific comment i mentioned. “high quality” is subjective I suppose but it was legit, honest and as thorough as I felt it should be. I’m not even talking about someone disagreeing with the review based on their own experience. Just the knee jerk negativity.

Dude you’ve made the same argument previously. I for one respect you. But you gotta get over it. You have to admit 2 reviews in 4 years is peculiar. And a lot of dudes felt some type of way when you posted the secret video chat. But, I’ve enjoyed some of your comments aside.
