I’ve heard this too, and I’m sure there’s some truth to it. However, when it comes from an AMP girl, take it with a grain of salt. They just say that so the white guy customer will feel better about his sexual prowess. Sort of another version of “You so strong”..

When a woman complements your sexual skill, there is always the quandary of: Is she being truthful or not? They can all act. Obviously, the motivation for not being truthful is to stoke your ego & get on your good side, especially if she wants a wedding ring. However, when she indicates she doesn't like it, there's no doubt she is telling the truth.

I saw some posts on race a while back and it got me thinking. I grew up in Philly when it was an integrated city made up of segregated neighborhoods. This was when racism was grass roots, before it was taken over by the professional race baiters. I had no contact with anyone who was non white until high school. It never sat too well with me and I thought a lot about it. I realized that more important than nationality, race, religion, etc is the fact that we are individuals. We were all put on this earth by the same God, or natural forces (take your pick). Even the phrase "racial pride" drives me crazy. How can anyone be proud of something that they had absolutely no say in? Of course, if one of those individuals intends to harm me or my family, I can respond in any one of four calibers. I'm not a bleeding heart liberal. To wrap it up, my son in law is half Puerto Rican and identifies as hispanic. I took his side over a white guy who was after my daughter because I thought he was the better choice and he has proved me right. My great grandson is half AA. Again, so what. He's a great kid and an individual first. Nuff said.

Interesting question, here is my thought.

Racial pride - it depends on your definition of pride, don't you think? I take it as meaning self-respect, and to positively identify with some thing or some group. Having a world champion in some sport from your city or state makes you proud, even though you had little to do with it, but you can be a proud patriots or yankees fan. I am proud to be of my nationality. How else would you describe how you feel about your ancestry?

I can’t speak for Japan so much, but I have done a lot of work in China, Thailand and Laos, and Korea. It was very normal and frequent for me to get taken out for dinner with senior management (all men) of the company, and also very normal for these nights to be designated for wives/family or for mistresses/girlfriends/escorts. Confusing to me at first, I thought I’d memorized the wives of the main guys I work with, only to have them show up with another batch of women the next night . And it was a minefield for me to figure out how to behave on these girlfriend nights (I’m not married -no problem there, but do I lose face by hiring an escort? Or do I lose face by not having a girl?)
I talked once to a wife in Laos I got close to about it, and her answer was that they could afford it, he was a good husband and provider, and as long as it was just sexual she didn’t care. She went on to say it would be different if she was in child bearing years and they were struggling to have kids. But with that done, as long as he didn’t keep to the same girl all the time, and made it home for the kids often, she didn’t care.
My point is that culture is vastly different in Asia and it’s foolish to project your western ideals onto an Asian woman. Although I do think it is evolving over there as the world gets smaller, and was much more true 20 years ago than it is today.

So it’s very believable to me a man can have a good marriage with a Japanese wife, and get allowed to play for pay.

Agree. Also many asian women after 40 prefer family and social to providing their sexual duty, so its ok for a well providing hubby to go play.

Asians are crazy for being white. They cover everything when going in sun and tan is not much appreciated. I had Japanese GF for a long time living in Tokyo. We had great fun and went in to many Japanese swing clubs ( couple Kissa) and had no issues me banging another lady and she by someone else. Then I married another one who was great in bed and wanted to satisfy me anyway. She had no issues with Greek etc. After 45 plus age her drive died but she told me I can go out and taste and sometimes recommends her friends who have sexless marriage. I just cannot fall in love. I keep my family and enjoy eating out
